Exeter Trail Races Exeter NH 6/11/11

Acidotic Racing put on another excellent local (for us) trail run at Fort Rock.  Two mileage options again: 4.6 or 10.  Nick and Mason opted for the 4.6.  Rob, um, forgot about the race.

The course was the same as last year's, in the highly technical, now very wet, Henderson-Swasey town forest trails.  The only difference was that we ran the loop (loosely used) in the opposite direction this year.  There also seemed to be quite a few more entrants. We gave it our all and Nick grabbed 3rd and I got 4th out of the 34 racers in the 4.6 mi distance.  NH Trail Vets sent a man to the podium for the second straight year - Rob placed 3rd last year.

Comic relief was provided by Rob's post-race text wondering if anyone wanted to go for a run!!
